Description:
A very rugged fancy 16ga German double with nitro proofs, and 30 5/8" barrels and clean bores with a few freckles of corrosion in the chambers.The German walnut wood have a perfect fit on this hammer gun.the stocks are finely hand checkered, with a left side cheek peice . The frame is in the white with no finish. Left tube has KRUPP-STAHL, and the right tube has the same markings .Has profuse German Imperial proofs on the water table, but the gun has no name, and is therefore an export gun, possibly through a worldwide gun vendor like STOEGER. Metal color has turned brown on the barrels but not pitted. Lock-up is good, and LOP is about 14 3/8" with a buffalo horn pressed checkered butt-plate common on European shotguns like early Brownings! Comes with a European narrow leather sling. German walnut stocks have small field use dings, but nothing serious, and one minor chip on the upper forend .The bores have a choke of a tight FULL, and MOD. Chambers 2 9/16 shells. .
