WWI German Hebel Flare Pistol model M1894. This original German WW1 flare pistol was used extensively by the German Military throughout WWI and WWII. "Hebel" is not a makers/designers name but a German term meaning "lever". This pistol action is opened by manipulating the lever under the trgger guard. Numbered screws match serial number.
