Description:
This is a really fine example of a standard Krag Model 1898 30-40 Krag Rifle. It has a sharp as new JSA 1900 cartouche on left side with P under wrist. The sling is a very rare single frog (brass) made for the US Model 1898, the same style used for the 03 but with mulitple brass frogs. Stock is excellent with no cracks. Blue on barrel is at least 85% and bright. Receiver is nice blue gray smooth finish with no pitting anywhere. Bore is very good with strong rifling. It comes with an original bayonet and metal scabbard. Serial number 260875. Nice original rifle and outfit. C&R
