Description:
This is a 12 ga. Beretta 686 Over/Under, custom built by Orvis in Vermont, and called the Orvis Uplander. The gun is stocked in Claro walnut w/ a 14 1/8" LOP over a leather pad and 2 1/2" Drop at heel and 1 5/8" drop at comb. Stock design is slimmer and much more lively than a factory Beretta w/ excellent 32 LPI checkering. 28" VR barrel w/ Beretta screw chokes and 3" chamber. Gun has some minor handling marks on wood, metal is super and gun is tight. Exceptional wood and checkering, dull matte finish metal. Marked Orvis Special. Unusual in that it is a straight stock O/U,. It also has an adjustable trigger position - a feature that I have never seen on ordinary 680 series Beretta shotguns.
