S# R034498, 7.62 X 54 Russian , 28 1/2 inch barrel, bright excellent bore . This 1942 dated rifle is numbered "2698" on barrel, bolt, bottom metal, and butplate. Stock and metal show many small military stampings. Stock shows a very well don arsenal repair at toe with an armory refinish, metal shows about 85% arsenal reblue. Comes with a very good sling with light soiling. Left side of receiver is importer marked. A very good example of this popular Russian rifle. FFL or C&R
