Smith & Wesson, 3rd. Model .38 Double Action, Top Break. Double and Single action work great, lock up is very good, hinge & lock are excellent, chambers are excellent. A Five inch barrel with a fine bore that has very nice lands & grovesThis 3rd Model revolver still shows the early production feature of the reverse curve back of the trigger guard.. Grips are in fine condition, barrel address is very sharp.
About 90% Original Factory Nickle with a few flaking spots. The quality of craftsmanship is just astonishing. This is a great piece of Americana for your S&W collection... would be a late 1880's production revolver. ANTIQUE
