From the Colt Custom Shop this is a 70 series 1911 A1 United States Marine Corps in 45 Cal.
It is my understanding this is a photoengraved edition from the Colt Custom Shop and was limited to
500 units manufactured!!
Presentation case has a brass plaque that reads United States Marine Corp, Limited Edition.
Both the rear sides of the slide have, in gold, the Marine Corp Emblem. Both centers of the slide have a pictorial of Marines raising the flag on Mt. Suribachi during WW II.
