#2970 V73, Belgium Browning Lightning New Style Skeet Set in 20/28/410 Three Barrel Set, All 28" Barrels, Made in 1973, All with their own Beavertail Forend, 20 Bore #1 barrels at .624 .004 & .004 (Skt.I & Skt.I), 2 3/4": 28 Bore #2 barrels at .549 .005 & .005 (Imp.Cyl. & Imp.Cyl), 2 3/4": 410 Bore #3 barrels at .408 .005 & .005 (Imp.Cyl. & Imp.Cyl.), 2 1/2": , All Factory marked Skeet & Skeet, All 3 barrels are properly serial numbered to the gun and numbered 1-2 & 3, Single selective trigger, Beavertail forend, Square knob with a long trigger guard tang, 14 9/16 x 1 3/8 x 2" over the factory 1" pad, The 20 is 6 lbs. 9 oz., The 28 is 6 lbs. 12 oz., The 410 is 6 lbs. 14 oz., Typical 1973 engraving with about 25% coverage; The original barrel blue on the 20 at 98%, The 28 is 99% & the 410 is 100%, The original receiver blue at 94%, The forend iron on the 20 at 85%, The long trigger guard tang is 29% blue with the trigger guard at 90%, The original stock finish at 95%, The checkering at 99%, Factory cased with all the paperwork. All 6 bores are bright and shiny and look as good as they did 41 years ago. For all intents and purposes the 28 & 410 barrels are virtually as new. Here is a New Style Skeet set that remains in total original condition. A very solid gun that is in excellent mechanical shape and remains tight to the face and it remains ready for the next 41 years.
