Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol by Robert Johnson made for the US Government. Has iron mountings, back strap, butt cap, etc. Marked U.S. R. Johnson Middnconn dated 1842 on lock barrel has standard proof US Government markings on BBL. Wood has standard cartouche markings on left side of stock behind side plate. This flintlock is in original condition and it has not been buffed or tampered with. The markings on the lock are very clear and there is almost no corrosion on the lock. Slight corrosion on the barrel next to the flintlock mechanism and at the end of the barrel; wood is very clean, metal is clean and is has very little corrosion, stock is not missing any wood. Overall fine condition. This appears to be original flintlock with all original parts. See Flaydermen 6A-30-034 page 331 ninth edition. (14-76) $1800.00 I take Visa/Mastercard,add 3%.
