Here is a very nice early Belgian built Browning Auto 5 in 16 ga. The barrel is marked 16.7 on the underside so I believe its a 2 3/4" chamber gun. The serial numbers all match too...the receiver, the barrel and the bolt!! It features the solid rib, the bore is shiny and clean. the wood is solid too, no cracks or gouges, and the chekering is in very good shape. The gun does have some handling marks consistent with its age. I do NOT believe its been reblued. And it biggest flaw is on the back of the hump, where you will see some minor dings (see Pictures). These early guns also featured their safety being in front of the trigger. This is a very nice shotgun in an excellent gauge for the field. And to top it all off...its marked Browning, St Louis! A lot of these early guns are found to have the FN markings on the receiver...not this one. If you have any questions let me know. Credit cards add 3%, we offer a 3 day non-firing inspection period.
