Was 39,995.00. This rifle is built on a magnum length single square bridge Mauser Oberndorf action, and is fitted with a high- quality German scope with see- through mounts. It has a barrel band sling loop, a hooded front sight, and a trap door butt plate for cleaning kit storage. A one standing/two folding leaf sight and a bolt- mounted dial- type peep sight are mounted at the rear. This rifle is remarkably engraved at the trigger guard bow and magazine cover. The barrel bore is excellent and shiny, and the gun enjoys very high condition over all. This gun is one of a collection that took the previous owner 35 years to accumulate. Each rifle that is offered from this group is absolutely the best that this collector could locate. Selective upgrading and careful selection were the benchmarks for this collector's acquisitions. Only rifles in high, original condition- most usually free of cracked wood or other blemishes- were satisfactory to the previous owner. This rifle is yet another example of that discerning taste.
