Winchester Model 12, 12ga. 26" barrel, WS-1 choke, factory solid rib w/ center bead. 99% condition.
Engraved by master engraver John Rohner, whose work was featured many times in Gun Digest.
Deep relief scroll with stippled background on receiver sides with vignettes of a falcon diving on a duck,
and bulino style scene of boy poling a boat with shooter. Tighter english type scroll on trigger guard, more open scroll on top of receiver.
Stocked with a spectacular blank by Richard Hodgson. Flawless checkering. Wood alone would be the price of the gun today.
