Description:
S# 20S, 11.15 X 58 R Werndl, 30.25 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This 1870 dated rifle remains in very good condition with a nice brown patina on most metal surfaces and attractive dark oil finish on wood. Rear sight leaf spring is broken. The rear barrel band screw is missing. Correct ramrod is present. Wood shows typical dings and dents with several numbers stamped along toe line. Butt plate tang shows regimental markings. A interesting early Austrian cartridge army rifle with a great bore. Antique
