Original Whitneyville Model 1861 navy contract musket ,appears to be unfired with matching bayonet,originial uncleaned finish with barreljust strating to turn a light brown from its originial armory bright finish,no pitting, and nipple area appears to have never had a cap on it ,lock remains armory bright ,wood very good with a few handling marks as a sharp inspector cartouche,has the long range shight bore is unfired condition ,What a nice example of a hard to find musket and I grade it at near excellent uncleaned and unpolished Plymouth Rifle
