Description:
Winchester 1876 50-95 Express caliber Ser#20916 with 28" extra length barrel. This rifle is well used but not abused and is mechannically excellent with strong rifling. The Cody Museum confirms all features except for the caliber which I believe to be a mistake in the ledger. The adjacent entry was for a 50-95 and I am sure the caliber was improperly entered for this one. This rifle is original all the way. The barrel has never been turned out and the carrier, bolt and dust cover are all correct for a 50-95. On close mechanical inspection I have verified that this rifle has not been altered in any way.
