DWM (Persian Contract) Artillery Model P-08, Rig, Caliber .9mm.Serial Number in Farsi.
Talk about great combination, RARITY and CONDITION. This is a fantastic opportunity for the critical collector. Talk to any of the experts. They will tell you the Persian Contract Lugers are the finest ever produced and production limited to only 1000.
The "ULTIMATE" Artillery. The rig consists of the gun, a magazine, holster, board stock, holster harness, cleaning rod, take down tool, shoulder strap, and magazine pouch. All numbered parts are in "Farsi". The pistol is all matching including the magazine and board stock which is also Farsi lettered to the gun on its side. The magazine pouch has four seems on the back one of which is undone.
The condition of pistol is outstanding, easily 95+% original finish. The straw is about is also 95% or better. The wear which is slight, is typical of Lugers with silvering of the sharp edges, side plate, muzzle and frame rail front edges. There are some slight scratches and an occasional pinprick but no rust or pitting. The grip straps have the scant graying. The walnut grips show little signs of use with only a flattened point or two with no splits or cracks. The grip screws are unmarred. The walnut bottom magazine does have a small dent in the middle of the serial number, but does have enough to identify it as matching. The feed ramp and bore show very little use. The bore is great. Mirror bright with well-defined groves and lands and no sign of graying.
This rig definitely has "CONDITION", a gun for the advanced collector.......$9895.
