Description:
Serial #A13188, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a splendid revolver that retains 98% plus of the original blue finish with a light turn ring present on the cylinder and some mild silvering along the exposed edges. There is a small amount of damage to the white sight insert inset into the stepped front blade and some gray fading along the ejector rod. The checkered Colt medallion grips are in excellent condition and have only very minor wear with some mild flattening of the points. This is an excellent 1969-made Detective Special with tight lock-up and would make a terrific example for a collector. FFL
