Mahallion .475 No. 2 Ejector Double Rifle. This rifle was retailed by H. Mahillion of Brussels Belgium. It was made and proved in Liege Belgium, likely by Francotte. The 24 3/4" bores are bright and shiny with sharp square rifling. The rib extension has a blind locking cross bolt and the barrels have double under bites. Locks up tight as new. There are 1 standing, 3 folding sights in the quarter rib and a flip up night site. The action has full coverage very fine scroll engraving. The 14 3/4" LOP over a Kick-Ezz pad The stock and forearm are nicely figured with great finish and checkering. The forearm has a scratch forward of the checkering and just rear of the forearm release button. There is a screw with the edge broken on the right side of the action. The barrel bluing is excellent with very light freckling. All lettering and engraving is crisp. This is a dynamite dangerous game rifle in a great rare caliber. Supplied with brass and bullets to get you started. Weight 10 pounds and 3 ounces. .
