Description:
Colt Open Top Pocket Revolver - Cal. .22 - 2 3/8" Bbl. - 7 shot - SN 48XXX(1875). Absolutely perfect bore and action, Retains 98% original factory nickel and 95% nitre blue on the hammer. Metal is excellent with no rust, pitting, or corrosion and sharp, crisp markings. Just behind the recoil shield on the right side are what looks to be two very tiny filled holes that are not readily noticible - possibly from a lanyard staple - very professional repair done long ago. Grips are excellent and undamaged with perfect fit to frame and retain 95% ++ finish. An exceptionally sharp and crisp early Open Top in Excellent or better condition and except as noted, all original. A fine addition for an early Colt or old West collection.
