26" SxS chopper-lump barrels with narrow matted Churchill rib and nickel bead front sight, choked modified & improved modified. 14 7/8" pull from front trigger to checkered butt. 1 3/8" - 2 1/8" drop. Figured European walnut stock with Anson-pushbutton-release splinter forend, scroll-engraved black hardrubber pistol grip cap, classic flat-topped point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, teardrops and vacant gold oval. Coin-finished, casehardened sidelock action, engraved by Keith Thomas with full coverage acanthus vine-leaf scroll and maker's name inlaid in gold on the lockplates. Gold-line cocking indicators, rolled triggerguard with extended bottom tang and automatic top tang safety with SAFE inlaid in gold. All components inlaid with number 1 in gold. Weight: 6lbs, 5oz. Built 1979. 99%+ barrel blue. Tight and with excellent bores. In Brady leather-trimmed canvas-covered trunk case, with maker's label, cleaning tips, snap caps and oil bottle.
