Description:
S# 53209, 303 British, 28 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This 1906 built 1895 remains in very good condition retaining over 50% blue with marks and wear typical of many years service. The left side of receiver shows numerous tiny dings, perhaps from a scabbard. Barel bottom is importer marked by forend tip. Both front and rear sights are period replacements. Wood remains sound with expected marks and shows some extra oil wiped on long ago. Cody zip sheet confirms caliber and shows shipping date of July 6, 1906. An honest 1895 rifle with a great bore.
