Description:
Very fine Winchester Model 70 Standard in 243 Caliber. Serial #395xxx (1957 Vintage). Metal retains all of 95%++ Original Blue with some minor wear on the bolt handle. The gun has had a scope mounted at one time. Wood retains mid 90's Original Varnish with some minor mars and scratches from being humted. Nothing major. Bore is Excellent and gun is Totally Original except maybe for the rear sight which is the flip down version used when scoped up instead of the standard buckhorn with the elevator, or on some Featherweights. A real clean 243 Standard which are getting pretty hard to come by these days. FFL or C&R Required. Thanks for looking.
