27 1/2" SxS barrels of Arquebusier steel with steel front bead sight on solid concave matted rib choked improved cylinder & improved modified. 14 5/8"pull from front trigger to striated horn buttplate. 1 1/2" - 2 1/4"drop. 1/2" cast-off. Highly figured European walnut stock with horn-tipped Deeley-release splinter forend, straight English grip, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, teardrops and vacant silver oval. Casehardened, scroll engraved, back-action sidelock with intercepting sears, Southgate ejectors, cocking indicators, doll's head and automatic top tang safety. Weight: 6lbs, 3oz. Belgian built in 1934. Retailed by F. Rhodes, Scarborought, England. London reproofed in 2000 for 70mm chambers. 97% original barrel blue. 60% original casehardening colors. Some finish added to the wood. Ejectors in time. Tight, and with excellent bores.
