Enfield No 2 MKI .38 S&W caliber revolver. Dated 1930. The barrel assembly is dated 1935. Barrel and frame both have the Star of David. Note: In 1930 and 1935 Iraq received two shipments of Enfields from the English Government. Israel, a new nation in 1948, with no official weapons. The Israeli military armed themselves with many different small arms. Since this revolver has two Iraq shipment dates and the barrel and the frame are mismatch from 2 different guns it seems likely this gun was captured from Iraq and subsequently Israeli marked.
