Colt 3rd Model Belt Paterson. Serial number 171. Rare gun with silver bands. The barrel is 5½” long and has the correct 11 groove rifling; the bore has some pitting in the grooves. The cylinder scene is very strong and this gun is all matching. The silver bands are a rare feature on the Patersons. The metal is a mostly gray patina with trace amounts of finish in protected areas. Grips are excellent. Gun works perfectly. A very fine Belt Model Paterson!
