Description:
Serial #3034, .38 Colt, 2? barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an 1875-made revolver that has retained 92-95% of the original nickel finish with some minor flaking at the muzzle and front of the cylinder face. The hammer, cylinder pin, trigger, and screws retains almost all of their original bright nitre blue finish (with the exception of the cylinder pin screw which is mostly worn gray). The rosewood grips are numbered to the revolver on the interior and are also in excellent shape with only some very light wear and a few negligible handling marks towards the butt. The lock-up is tight and the mechanism functions flawlessly. This is truly a nice Colt pocket revolver in the rare .38 that has retained an unusually high amount of the original finish and would make a great addition to any collection. Antique
