Radom, Polish Eagle (Not Nazi) Model VIS 35. Serial Number 274XX. Caliber .9mm.
This 1938 dated pistol was issued to polish officers just before the Nazi took over the factory. The condition is just wonderful for these beautifully finished pre-Nazi guns. The condition is easily 95-96% original high polish blue. The only loss is sharp edge silvering and the 3 rub spots from the holster. The right side of the slide, the front of the trigger guard and the front grip strap. They are from the leather bolster in the holster and are found on all holstered "Eagle" Radoms. There is no graying of the grip straps, pits or rust anywhere. All parts match. The grips are perfect. No splits, chips or point flattening. The gun has a variety of inspector’s marks. A V on the trigger, a Circle B/8 on the trigger guard and an H in the stock slot. The bore has sharp and crisp rifling with some very slight graying. The gun has obviously seen very little use. The gun comes with one original "Eagle" magazine with the base plate stamped Oval G/6. This is a real fine example of a pre-Nazi Polish Radom VIS 35.....$3895
