Description:
SN 159285 is a Pocket Positive 3 1/2" barrel with a bright, excellent bore. .32 Police Cal. (.32 S&W Long). This little Colt was built at some time from 1940 to 1943. The serial numbers ended at 159000 in 1940. This piece was probably assembled from remaining parts during the period of the great demand for guns in the early WWII era. See page 371-72 of "The Book of Colt Firearms" 3rd ed. by Wilson. This piece rates at 95% and shows matching original grips with no chips. Total production was 130,000 of this model. FFL or C&R
