Description:
This drilling is chambered in 9.3x72RSS, a larger version of the standard 72 R using a case similar to the 9.3x74 but not the same ballistics. I have hunted with a drilling almost identical to this one for years and I have to say I just love the feel of these. Mine is my go too gun when I cannot seem to hit with anything else! This design is a full sidelock shotgun with the rifle sears built on a trigger plate. It is only hot when the rifle is cocked with the sidelever which equates to safe shotguning when the rifle is not in use. The top lever safe is a big plus as most drillings do not have this and we top safe people do not have to adapt. The peep sight is a work of art. The internal craftsmanship on these guns is like a pre-war Swiss watch. Bright bores, with some marks from some previous dings removed. The action appears to be recently tightened, tight on the face. Checkering is worn and rubbed in places but very restorable. Notice the detail in the front trigger! Wow.
