Sold! 1857 Pre War and Martially marked cut down barrel .36 Caliber Navy Colt. Matching serial numbers including wedge of 64188. Martially marked and inspected on back strap. Barrel cut down to 5 1/2 inches. Has matching CS arsenal markings of roman numeral VIII and three s on the period replacement loading lever and the plunger. See photo. Action works great. Colt address on the top of barrel most likely obliterated at the Confederate arsenal. Colts patent remains on the side of the frame. Matching Chocolate attic patina on the entire gun.
