Description:
Extremely, rare toy from the 1920s. During a time when only a few young boys had store bought toys this folkart TOMMYGUN was a treasure most Junior G-MEN could only dream of.   From the era of, Gangsters such as John Dillinger, Al Capone, Bonnie and Clyde and the G-Men that pursued them.  This toy has a wooden wheel crank with a metal klacker to give this toy its machine gun rat-a-tat-tat-rat-a-tat-tat, sound and it still works as it did then. I have searched the internet high and low and cannot find another like it.  What I did find online was of the same era was priced at $330. A folkart collector would not likely find another like it.
