Ser#1796x. A used but we'll cared for 3rd model Frontier Army, Single-action, 44-40 W.C.F. Top strap square butt with 7" barrel. Revolver would rate between good and very good using Standard Arms Catalogue (price shows $3250.00 very good and $1750.00 good). Revolver is exceptionally nice for a large frame. Retains 30-40% original blue with balance a light patina, seen in natural sunlight. Light traces of case color on hammer grips are as new. Bore is bright and shiny with just a hint of roughness but should clean-up. Close to new mechanics are tight and crisp. Missing are 2 of 3 small screws holding side plate and small retaining spring for loading gate. $1600.00 shipped.
