Cooper Model 52 “Custom Shop” .270 Winchester: This Cooper rifle was special ordered and includes several custom shop upgrades, including a High Grade French Walnut stock, a Checkered Bolt Knob, Inletted Sling Swivel Mounts and a Detachable Box Magazine. The trigger guard has gold initials of the original owner. Additionally the rifle features a 24" barrel made of 4140 steel with a contour measuring 1.150" at the receiver and .660" at the muzzle. Machined steel trigger guard and grip cap, and all metal parts and surfaces are hot blued and hand polished to a high gloss finish. The High Grade French Walnut stock features a shadow line cheek piece, genuine ebony forend cap, hand checkered with Len Brownel's wrap around western fleur checkering pattern, inletted sling swivels mounts, a 1" Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and length of pull of 13.75". The rifle weights 8 1/4 lbs. and comes with a pair of Leupold scope bases, factory box, manual and factory accuracy test target. The rifle is in excellent, near new condition and looks absolutely fantastic! There are a very small few light scratches in the stock however. The scratch that is most pronounced can be seen in the photograph of the butt-stock on the right side, but only barely. The scratch is located one inch from the recoil pad between the heel and toe. This custom shop rifle is very similar to Cooper's Model 52 Custom Classic that retails for $4199.99, but has a higher grade of French walnut and the dechable box magazine.MORE INFORMATION OR TO PURCHASE THE FIREARM:Please call the Cabela’s Gun Library office as the firearm is on hand and our retail staff is standing by ready to serve you.
