Description:
Swiss ammo for the 1898 & 1911 Schmidt Rubin Swiss 7.5mm rifle. Packed 6 rounds to a stripper clip. The headstamp is "5 or 7 DS 24" (1924). The bullet, as described in "Cartridges of the World", is the steel capped hollow base lead bullet of .299 inch diameter. These are 7.5 X 53.5 round nose rounds. The stripper clips are the original Swiss military clips (waxed paper (cardboard) metal top. Scarce clips for the Swiss military collector or the military ammunition collector.
