Description:
Serial #485811, .30 Carbine, 18? barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a very nice Universal that has a faded blue finish on the barrel and gray-green parkerizing on the band/bayonet mount, while the slide, receiver, and perforated handguard have been polished to a fairly bright pewter patina that has traces of the original blue remaining. The birch stock has a few scattered minor handling marks and small blemishes in the original varnish finish and the rear sight has been removed. A Chinese-made 4x32 scope with duplex reticle is installed and the carbine comes with a canvas sling, oiler, and a single 5 rd. magazine. This is a very good plus commercial M1 Carbine overall. FFL
