Description:
S# 23431, 40-40 maynard 1873, 26 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This 1873 rifle is built on a surplus 1875 frame (stamped on lower tang) and remains in excellent condition with over 85% barrel blue. Frame shows strong traces of case colors on lowers tang with balance silvered. Butstock fits perfectly and shows typical marks from service. Butrplate shows light pitting and dark staining. Barrel wears a gold beech front sight and folding two leaf rear. Tang has an "Elevating Peep" with an added eyecup. This comes with 40 pieces of RMC brass, and accurate 417235M dual cavity mold, a Lyman .410 sizing die, and a blue painted primer seater with shell holder mounted.
