Description:
This is a beautiful N Frame Smith & Wesson Model 29-2, blued finish with a 6.5" barrel and the most beautiful pair of diamond checkered grips I have ever seen. It is cased in a mahogany S&W case with tools. This is from the S serial number range, #S230917, was mfg. in 1962. It has all the standard features with red ramp front sight, wide case colored hammer and trigger and the early high polish bue finish these early guns were famous for. As to condition, the gun has a mint bore and the action locks up like a bank vault. Overall factory original finish is at least 98% with a hint of wear on end of muzzel and a couple of high edge spots on end of cylinder. There is also a drag line. The grips are mint. One of the most handsome Model 29's you will ever see. In addition, this gun is C&R eligible. SALES HOLD
