SOLD.. Antique Remington O/U Derringer. Type 3. Nice blue. Real Pearl grips. Nice bores. Excellent hinges. S/N are matching on the frame and barrel 228. Of course these were all batch numbered. Some nice bright blue remaining as the photos show and is mixing with some faded blue from pocket carry. The photo of the left side of the barrels where the blue is worn is not pitted. It is smooth. Some bright blue on the rear of the hammer also. Both hinges are perfect and tight with NO wobbles and NO cracks. This is tight as new. Barrel frame to barrel is rock solid with NO movement. Firing pin rotates from top to bottom. Mechanics are excellent. Markings are excellent. The pearl grips are excellent as well with NO chips or cracks and a beautiful luster that looks better in hand than the photos show. The bores are very fine with strong rifling and still shine with just a couple very minor spots of roughness. Way better than average bores on this one. Usually the bores on this model are completely corroded with very little rifling even showing. These are in great condition. All the screw heads are sharp and not all burred up. About all I can say on this one. Look at the photos. It is a nice one !!! $15 insured shipping.
