Mauser (cyq code), Very early Spreewerks manufacture - semi-automatic pistol, Model P.38, caliber 9mm, Very good to excellent condition, Production began June 1942, 238,080 produced, letter suffix added February 1943, SN 262e produced July 1943, all numbers matching, flat blue/black finish with typical manufacturing milling marks, 100% original, Mechanically Excellent, BORE IS FINE TO EXCELLENT with strong rifling, retains almost all blue with some holster wear on muzzle, slide edges and front of frame at grip, nice original grips, THIS CLASSIC PISTOL INCLUDES AN ORIGINAL P.38 HOLSTER IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION, also numbered 62, Holster dated 1941. Usually, holsters are dated the same year as the gun. It is possible this holster was in a bulk bin and was extracted as the gun was produced for issue. This gun may be subject to prior retail sale.
