CASED SAMUEL NOCK 12 BORE SINGLE BARREL PERCUSSION FOWLER 12 bore, 36" damascus barrel with Nocks patent breech. An extra breech is also in the case. Beautifully engraved percussion lock with the maker's name engraved on the flat. Burl walnut half stock with horn forend cap and cheek piece located on the left side. The barrel showing much of the original brown and damascus pattern remaining. The lock showing all of the casehardened finish. The stock shows some areas of repair that appear to be from the period. Excellent bore. The original case retains it's dusty rose colored linning. Accessories include a leather shot snake and the extra breech block.
