Description:
The first ever Federal Duck Stamp was issued in 1934 and the artist was "Ding" Darling.  This stamp is in very fine condition and still retains most of the original adhesive.  It is very hard to find this stamp in this high condition.

This stamp came out of a collection of Ducks Stamps belonging to the immortal Ernie Simmons, inventor of the Simmons Vent Ribs that you find on thousands and thousands of Winchester Model 12's and other guns.  I have some early Duck Stamps cancelled by Ernie that are also available.
