Description:
A .40 caliber custom made Tennessee style rifle by White Eye's Rifles Kalispell M.T. This attractive Southern Mountain percussion rifle is trimmed with perfectly browned iron furniture, and stocked in honey colored fine curly maple. The length of pull is 13 3/4 inches. The rifle has a superb rich finish with an understate elegance. Often referred to as a Tennessee style, this Southern rifle is fitted with a Siler lock,a 42 inch octagon WM LARGE barrel. All wood to metal fit is superior and precise, showing the hand of a master. Front sight is an iron blade dovetail to the barrel. Rear sight - 7/8 inch dovetail, browned steel, open, York County style. Features double set triggers. 57 inches overall length and weighs 8 1/2 lbs. The barrel has deep rifling a true round ball shooter. Bore shows no signs of wear or pitting. No rust or damage to wood. All hardware is iron : butt plate, pipe thimbles that holds ram rod. Is in perfect condition.
