Description:
Offered is a rare Baker Double. It is an RE grade 16 gauge with 30 inch Krupp Steel barrels. Serial number is RKE 200898. It is decent condition for its age but does show some use. The bores are excellent in the 30 inch barrels choked full and full. The ejectors and all mechanics are in working order and the shotgun looks to be in good mechanical shape. There are no cracks that we can see in the wood and the original BAKER butt plate is present. There is some wear to the checkering. Length of pull is 14 1/4 from the front trigger over the butt plate. Drop at heel is 3 inches and drop at comb is 1 1/2. Weight is just under 7 pounds. The barrel lug looks to have been resoldered on but the shotgun is tight and looks to be on face. This is a rare graded small bore Baker. Go to: ironmenarms . c o m for additional pictures
