Here is a true Vet-bringback as purchased from the family years ago. It is a Walther AC-43 all matching serial number 5876g. It comes with two magazines and the 1944 (bla) holster. The pistol is in VG condition but with some pitting on the left side of the slide. Nice reddish bakelite grips. Bore is clean and it functions perfectly. I did some research on the Officer who brought it back 1st Lieutenant Francis X Victor who passed away in 2003. His Unit was the 538th Air Service Group. They provided replacement pilots for P-47 Thunderbolts in Italy. How he acquired this pistol, who knows. The high gets everything shown in the photo's.
