Description:
Alfred Lancaster 12b hammer gun in nice condition. Made around 1874 with rebounding hammers. 30" Damascus bbls with recent 850BAR nitro proof. Shiny bores with some minor blemishes. Choked R - cyl, L - mod. min wall thickness R - 027 L - 030. LOP - 14 5/8 to nicely done leather covered pad. DAC 1 3/4, DAH 2 1/2. 6 lbs 12oz. Beautiful wood. Tight and on face. Left hammer spur has been professionally redone. Breech face has some shallow pits. Nearly full coverage of fine scroll engraving slightly worn on bottom of action. Lettering on top rib has been somewhat obscured probably when barrels were re browned. There is a canvas case in sound condition that goes with this gun. I will split shipping to contiguous states.
