Not a conversion. Early model. 6 groove. Without patchbox. 40,000 of these were made. Original, authentic, antique Civil War gun!!! (see Flayderman’s Guide p. 199). CONDITION: Barrel, bbl., bands, and sight metal are bright with very light corrosion. Wood has a few dents and dings from battle use. Bore appears to be in good condition.. Works fine mechanically.
