CUSTOM BOLT-MAGAZINE SPORTING RIFLE, 23 1/4in. nitro reproved (in 2013) heavy ported octagonal barrel with raised rib, folding leaf sights marked 50, 100 and 150, ramped bead fore-sight, deep acanthus scroll engraving at the breech and muzzle ends, rib signed '- LONDON GUNS - SANTA MONICA. CALIFORNIA - ', receiver (with thumb cutout), bolt and hinged floorplate carved in high relief with scrolling acanthus motifs on a matted background, floorplate with lever release, well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling eyes, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), 13 3/4in. pull including 7/8in. rubber recoil pad.
