This pistol was made in the last year for the second generation models. 1975 production. This four and three quarter inch barrel Colt is new in the original box. This box is the last style used by Colt for the second generation model S.A.A.'S The box is the dark wood grain sleeve with the gold label. The inside section is the brown styrofoam wood grain two piece insert. This Colt is one of 102 357 Magnum pistols produced that year. The total production of four and three quarter inch barrel 357 Magnum second generation single action army pistols is 2776 pistols. This pistol has no drag marks or wear of any kind. The best part with this Colt is it's color case finish! This Colt shows really stunning color case finish with strong bright colors. This is one of the prettiest Colt's I have seen in a long time. This is truely a hansome Colt and pleasing to the eye. Would make any collector proud to own! Second generation model Colt S.A.A.'S with their original boxes and in new unused condition are getting difficult to find and collect today.
