Description:
WINCHESTER PRE 64 MODEL 64 IN .219 ZIPPER, S#1400xxx standard grade rifle. This rare bird retains about 90% original factory blue on the barrel and mag with the receiver retaining about 80-85% blue. There is a wear spot on the right top rear side of the receiver with other loss being edge and belly wear. The forearm retains about 75% original finish while the butt stock retains strong finish which may be a later overcoating. The original bolt peep and front sights are present and the bore is bright and strong.
A DESIREABLE MODEL 64 WHICH RETAINS A VERY PLEASING APPEARANCE DESPITE SOME FINISH LOSS. THE 26" BARREL WHICH IS STANDARD FOR THE ZIPPER RESULTS IN ONE OF THE MOST GRACEFUL RIFLES WINCHESTER EVER PRODUCED.
