NEW DESCRIPTION: NEW DESCRIPTION: ERROR IN OLD DESCRITPION
WINCHESTER MODEL 65 .218 BEE S#1006xxx. This rifle has a fine, bright bore and excellent mechanics. The original blue is in 97-98% condition, but the lever appears to have been refinished. All markings are factory fresh. The wood retains 97% of the original factory varnish. Unfortunately, there are four holes in the barrel for scope blocks and two in the left side of the receiver. Sling swivels have been added as well. It retains the original factory sights including the fine bolt peep sight.
A MODEL 65 FOR THE SPORTSMAN/SHOOTER WHO WILL NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN A WINCHESTER, BUT THIS ONE CAN BE TAKEN AFIELD AT WILL WITHOUT THE CONSTANT ANXIETY OF ACCUMULATING SOME DINGS. SO IT IS LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE OF AN ORIGINAL, AS IT SHOULD BE.
